Hello Runners!
Welcome to race week! Coach Tony and I are SO PROUD of every single one of you, and we KNOW that you are going to SLAY your race. You ALL have put in the work/miles, in freezing cold temps, in windy and wet conditions, in warm and humid conditions, at times when you weren't feeling the best, and at times when you were tired... YOU ARE READY!
Remember, set three goals going into your race. A goal that you feel comfortable achieving, a goal you will achieve if everything comes together, and an ALMOST unreachable goal.
Race week nutrition advice: increase your protein intake this week (lean, red meat, chicken, fish, etc) and complex carb intake (pasta, rice, potatoes, etc). Decrease your dairy intake, especially milk and cream. And HYDRATE like a boss including less alcohol and coffee.
Good news! You can NOW register for another year with TJ's Running! And anyone who registers before our end of session party on June 13 will be automatically entered to win a BIG prize. You do NOT need to be present at the party to win.
