Maintenance Week: May 12-18

Hello Runners!

Coach Tony and I thought attendance to the group runs might drop during the maintenance session, but this past week you proved us wrong! Keep it up!!! And if life keeps you away from the group runs, please do your best to get some runs in your own.

There are numerous upcoming races to participate in... too many to list here, but most are posted on our Facebook page. Take a look, and join the fun!

Speaking of fun... as a reminder, our end of session party is Friday June 13! It will be from (approximately) 7-10 p.m. at the clubhouse in Estancia (where I live). I'll have more concrete details soon, but in the meantime if you could RSVP, that would be great:

  • Mon May 12: core and lower body with stretching (on your own)
  • Tue May 13 – 6PM: Sedgwick County Park, 6501 W 21st St, Wichita, KS 67205 (park at the hill), all groups: 30 minutes of hill training OR 30 minutes/3 miles at a pace of your choosing – Route Map
  • Wed May 14: core and upper body with stretching (on your own)
  • Thu May 15 – 6PM: Norton’s, 125 St Francis St, Wichita, KS 67202, all groups: out 15 minutes and back at a moderate (4-5 effort) pace – Route Map
  • Fri May 16: rest, recover, stretching (on your own)
  • Sat May 17 – 7:30AM: Jimmy’s Egg East, 550 N Webb Rd suite b, Wichita, KS 67206, all groups: 2-5 miles at an easy (2-3 effort) pace – Route Map
  • Sun May 18: 1-3 miles at an easy pace (on your own)
